Over the course of reporting and writing our book, sisterhood emerged as an undeniable theme. As we traveled the country and the globe from 2014 to the present, we observed the powerful ways in which women are collaborating and encouraging each other in startup accelerators, inside tech companies, in co-working spaces, on email lists and private Facebook groups, on college campuses and at male-dominated tech trade shows and conferences.
